Behind the Polyboards – John Bauer themed session

When you group together professionals who love what they do, that bring together ideas and enthusiasm, you can expect great things.

I contacted Katarina just before the new year and I found in her a very interesting stylist and a good communicator, things I always look for in someone with a vision. She had an idea about a session loosely based on John Bauer's works, and Fabiana and I were immediately captured by it. Katarina sent us a book with all the moods, styles, and ideas for the session, taking the reins of its direction.

The day was really cold, but Susanna, our model, was great. Not only she was able to pose perfectly, but she did not complained once for the cold. Professionalism.

Polly and Dean, the makeup artist and the hair stylist, were absolutely great. Dean was extremely proactive during the shot, checking that no hair went on the model's face and that its style was always the one he wanted. Amy, on the other side, helped us in every detail and doing everything perfectly: we couldn't have asked for anything more from an assistant!

You will read something more about this session in a couple of weeks, but I thought you would have been interested in few "Behind the Polyboard" shots, or behind the scene, as you like to call them! :)
