Editorial: New Trends Spring 2010

New trends for Spring 2010 from the vision of Anna Louise Dockeray in the photos of Carlo and Fabiana Nicora. A vision into the women's look of the coming months.
Few weeks ago we had the possibility to shoot an editorial test with some truly remarkable people. Initially the main focus of the session was to test a camera, the Canon 1Ds Mk III, and to network with new people, but it ended up in being a fantastic day to celebrate teamwork.

Apart from our great make up artist Zuzana, whom we have worked with many times already and about whom you can read a Spotlight, the session brought together some remarkable individuals we never worked previously. The team "clicked" almost immediately and worked seamlessly together. It is not huge and I am sure there are many things we will not be able to do it, but for our current needs is more than we could have dreamed. As I said, it was the "first time" for many of the people we worked with, but everyone worked together seamlessly, creating that great collaborative environment Fabiana and I so much like. Anna, the stylist for the day, prepared a lot of ideas for the shot and when she rang the door, she had everything she needed and everything that could have been nice to have. It was a nice feeling to have such a professional person around us, with a lot of ideas and with a great organisation. She delivered all the clothes and they matched our models perfectly! Which one do you like more? Anna and Fabiana shared the creative direction of the shot, deciding the look and feel and the clothes for every model. It was a pleasure to work with a person who knows what's best for the shoot, who knows to propose ideas and accept others'.

For Caterina, our hair stylist, it was one of the first editorial session, but she coped very well with the pressure, with the need of doing different styles in a short time following the directions we had and limiting our excess of enthusiasm. She knows what works and what does not, and it is a trustworthy professional.

For Zuzana I have spent quite few words on her Spotlight and she is our make up artist of choice: if you need a professional I would suggest to book her! Nowadays it is not easy to have her every time: people are discovering her talent and booking her more often.

Jesper was the Photographer who helped us during the evening. He is not an unskilled or young person who snap away: he is a professional who came to help us and to spend some time with us. It was great to have him around, a pleasure to talk to him and someone who can drive a session forward with his ideas and proposals. It has been a pleasure having him on board during the evening.

Last, but not least, our fabulous models, Kataryna and Livia. They were chosen the day before the shot with very short notice, but their attitude was superb. They worked as pro, accepting our challenges, acting and reacting superbly in front of the camera.
