Behind the Polyboards: When a duo works

Working with two models is always a challenge as you have to put together two separate modelling styles and avoid that one over shines the other. There can be competition between your two subjects, intimacy or any other feeling, but they have to work together in order for the photos to shine! The point is that when you find two models that work together like Alexis and Andrew, the results can be breathtaking!

The other week Alexis, whom we already worked with for a photo shoot we did in Piccadilly Circus, contacted me as she was looking for a particular type of photos for her and her friend Andrew, sort of Calvin Klein ads. The days before the shoot were absolutely hectic and we did not have time to look for a lot of ideas and resources, but we were able to bring in Carlo Di Caterino, one of the top make up artist we collaborate with, and just lay down the basic details we would have worked on. Luckily the chemistry between Alexis and Andrew was so great that working was an absolute pleasure and the results are... well, you will see them pretty soon. For now just an initial taste!
